Our team

Stephen Hall (director and lead trainer)Stephen Hall (director and lead trainer) has a wealth of experience in both delivering first aid training and as a volunteer first aider, attending many public events throughout Norfolk and in the military communities in Germany and Cyprus.  In addition he has crewed ambulances for NHS trusts in Norfolk and West Midlands and has been a community first responder and a volunteer first aider on the SOS Bus in Norwich. His interest and involvement in first aid started at the age of 11 and he has been a full time trainer since 1989.

Whilst still involved in hands-on first-aid training, Stephen’s primary role is to design the courses and to manage the training team to ensure that all courses are delivered to the same high standards. Stephen monitors course feedback very closely and also carries out regular face to face monitoring.

Lucy Lawrence (company secretary) also has a lot of experience in first aid – starting at the age of 6.  She undertook all the training for the contract with Norwich Primary Care Trust.  This meant she provided training in resuscitation, anaphylaxis and defibrillation for, amongst others, doctors, nurses and physiotherapists.

Sarah Spears (educational adviser) is a qualified teacher who again has a lot of experience in first aid – starting at the age of 8.  As well as providing some of the first aid training she has input into the educational aspect of the courses and is involved in quality assurance.

Dr Andrew Hall (medical adviser) provides relevant medical input to the courses.  He also has an intimate knowledge of the problems faced by first aiders, having started his own involvement with first aid at the age of 6.

Other Trainers. We also have a number of other trainers registered with us, based in various locations around England. These include paramedics, nurses, ex-firefighters and ex- military medics. All of our trainers bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to our courses and all have been selected for their friendly, sympathetic approach to training.

This course (presentation and content) was far superior to my last course with a large national organisation. Excellent!
Just wanted to give a little feedback on the Emergency First Aid at Work Course I attended last Friday. It was by far the most informative first aid course I have attended and I thought Simone was excellent, keeping everyone engaged for the whole day.
An excellent course and trainer. He was extremely knowledgeable and experienced. He answered every question thoroughly, giving accurate guidance on how to deal with every scenario. I will be using the company again, very soon. Thanks!
I found the course very useful and engaging. It helped to have all the equipment available for practical use. Our trainer made the class comfortable and welcoming. At no point did I feel pressured or out of my comfort zone. A very nice environment to learn in. Thank you!
The trainer was very engaging. It was clear he knew the science behind why things were done, not just “because”. He was always happy to answer any questions on the subject. His management was also impressive when it came to the less co-operative members of the group. The topic was clear and concise with information suitable to all work places, including domestic and public.
Very good content and well delivered by experienced and skilful trainer. I am now aware and confident to deliver first aid.
I really enjoyed it. The knowledge of the trainer was good and he added in more science than other people have, so it wasn’t boring as I understood it and learnt more things.
I found this training a lot better than first aid training I’ve been to before. Not only was I having a first aid course, but it also felt a bit like a biology session too, which was good. I can’t think of any ways to improve it, as it was very interesting.
