First Aid at Work and Emergency First Aid at Work courses for individual trainees

First Aid at Work, First Aid at Work Requalification and Emergency First Aid at Work courses are also run for individual trainees at various locations in Norfolk.

First Aid course dates and pricing

Forestry + F and 3 hour annual refresher courses are held on the same dates and venues as Emergency First Aid at Work. The Forestry + F is an additional module and costs an extra £35. The 3 hour annual refresher runs in the morning and costs £45 in total.

CPC First Aid training can be added in conjunction with the Emergency First Aid at Work dates. There will be an extra hour of training and will cost an additional £45 to include the certificate of attendance and a record of course attendees will be uploaded to the driver recording database within 5 working days.

Paediatric First Aid courses are held for individuals, in Norwich. This is the 2 day course, suitable for nursery staff and childminders. Please contact us for dates and prices.

First Aid at Work dates

These courses are held in Norwich and are OFQUAL registered.
Cost is £199 per trainee (including £10 for the OFQUAL certificate). VAT is charged at the standard rate.

Accreditations

We are an approved centre of Qualsafe Awards who are an Awarding Organisation recognised by OFQUAL and can offer qualifications, as below:

Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF) (2 units) (3 days) – and the requalification course (2 days)
Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF) (1 unit) (1 day)
First Aid at Work Annual Refresher (QAR) (1 unit) (3 hours)
Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid (RQF) (2 units) (2 days)
Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid (RQF) (1 unit) (1 day)
Level 2 Award in Basic Life Support and Management of Anaphylaxis (QCF) (1 unit) (4 hours)
Level 2 Award in Activity First Aid (QCF) (2 units) (2 days)
Forestry First Aid + F (QAR) (1 unit) (2 hours)
Level 2 Award in citizenAID (QCF) (1 unit) (3 hours)

We are also approved by SMP (Service Medical Professionals), which is a voluntary accreditation scheme that has carried out the “due diligence” that employers have to undertake if the first aid course is not Ofqual registered.

You get the same high quality first aid course, whichever certification you choose. The difference is that the Ofqual course is registered through Qualsafe awards and they issue the certificates. This involves us in extra costs, so we have to pass this on. It is currently £10 per certificate for First Aid at Work or First Aid at Work requalification, and £5 per certificate for most other registered courses.

However, if you choose to have First Aid Training Associates certificates, we do not need to make this additional charge.

CitizenAID courses are offered only as Qualsafe Awards courses and the certificate cost is included in the price quoted.

The trainer was very engaging. It was clear he knew the science behind why things were done, not just “because”. He was always happy to answer any questions on the subject. His management was also impressive when it came to the less co-operative members of the group. The topic was clear and concise with information suitable to all work places, including domestic and public.

I really enjoyed it. The knowledge of the trainer was good and he added in more science than other people have, so it wasn’t boring as I understood it and learnt more things.
I found this training a lot better than first aid training I’ve been to before. Not only was I having a first aid course, but it also felt a bit like a biology session too, which was good. I can’t think of any ways to improve it, as it was very interesting.
